Finally fucking virtualizing the laptop
Holy shit, finally!!! I am no longer the meme, the laptop is no longer a critical piece of infrastructure
Wowzers, it’s done! Woohoo! yay!
After ALL THIS TIME!!!
Anyways, let me explain what I actually did
All the old shit like the middle click gifs are now under https://legacy.thecrazyinsanity.win
Now here are the technical details, since if you’re autistic enough to read this blog in particular, that’s what you came here for
Everything is a docker container under coolify, that’s about it
Buuuuut coolify is a pain in the ass oh my god
So there’s the cloudflare reverse tunnel already running, that’s acceptable
Coolify adds it’s own unwanted proxy, that can’t properly be disabled, to get around this I had to make local dns entries for the two sites and also cloudflare tunnel entries, for some reason it won’t work with just one.
But anyways, I’m always one push request away from things existing now, it’s sooo nice just pressing one button and it being on the real site. Also I get notifications when things crash.
Last of all, the laptop kubernetes cluster is nearing, can’t wait for that cursed mess lol
